USD’s outside hitter Audrey Reeg and SDSU’s right side hitter Ashley Beaner were named Summit League Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week.

NDSU’s defensive specialist/outside hitter Mikaela Purnell garnered the league’s Defensive Player of the Week award.

AUDREY REEG, SOUTH DAKOTA Sr. // OH // Dubuque, Iowa

  • Collected her third career Player of the Week award and second this season
  • Had a double-double (15 kills, 16 digs) in a three-set win over Western Illinois
  • Helped the Coyotes win their 20th and 21st match of the year, the most since the Coyotes joined Division I
  • For the week, averaged 4.67 kills per set with a .362 hitting percentage with 58 total attempts

ASHLEY BEANER, SOUTH DAKOTA STATE Sr. //RS // Sioux Falls, S.D. 

    • Collected her first career Offensive Player of the Week award
    • Set career-highs with 25 kills in a 3-2 loss to Oral Roberts
    • Helped the Jackrabbits upset Fort Wayne with 18 kills
  • For the week, averaged 4.78 kills per set with a .344 hitting percentage and four service aces
