The Great Plains Athletic Conference has announced its weekly basketball Players of the Week.

Women – Kynedi Cheeseman, Dakota Wesleyan University (Forward)

Cheeseman, a senior from Alexandria, South Dakota, had a career-high 35 points on her way to surpassing 2,000 career points in a victory over Mount Marty. She also tallied seven rebounds, four assists and three steals. She tied a school record for free throws made in a game with 16.

Men – Zach Imig, Morningside College (Guard)

Imig, a junior from Gretna, Nebraska, nearly had a triple double as he hit 84.6 percent from the field including perfect two-for-two from outside the arc. He finished the game with 28 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists. He also added a pair of steals in the win over Jamestown.
