Week of Action for Affordable Care Act Sign Up

The third open enrollment period for the Affordable Care Act opened on November 1st. Several hospitals have hosted outreach events to help get consumers enrolled in the insurance coverage, and are now doubling down on their efforts during what will be called the “Week of Action” starting today.
Part of the outreach efforts include Certified Marketplace Navigators. Jennifer Grassrope is a Navigator with the Rural Office of Community Services in Lake Andes….

The certified Marketplace Navigators will host outreach events during the “Week of Action” in Mitchell, Wagner, Chamberlain, Yankton and Freeman.
Consumers who have questions about the process or would like help enrolling can attend one of five outreach events being held that week can call 800-318-2596 or visit healthcare.gov to find local in-person help
