The long-range weather watchers are keeping their eyes on possible development of an El Nino in the Pacific Ocean.
Nebraska Climatologist Martha Shulski says there are some early signs……

An El Nino occurs when ocean temperatures rise, and that has an impact on North American weather.

Shulski says many of the computer models are starting to agree…..

The Pacific was in a La Nina phase, or cooling for the past year of so. That has now reverted to a neutral state.
