The fairly mild weather of the past week will be replaced by a series of cold waves from the north.
Dennis Todey with the USDA Midwest Climate Hub (in Ames Iowa) says the change will hang on for a while…

Todey says there is the potential for some freeze damage and slowing planting progress..

Todey says it doesn’t look like there is a lot of precipitation coming with the cold……

Todey says the longer-range trends show both temperatures and precipitation staying below normal for the next month or so.
