Senior Jordan Spencer from Wayne State is this week’s Northern Sun Conference women’s basketball player of the week in the South Division.

Spencer averaged 15.5 points and seven rebounds per game in two home wins over MSU Moorhead and #16 Northern State. Spencer recorded her fifth double-double of the season with 18 points and 10 rebounds on 7-of-10 shooting in Friday’s 81-60 win over MSU Moorhead.

She then scored the game-winning basket with 12.3 seconds to play and had a team-high 13 points with four rebounds and three steals in a 58-57 win over #16 Northern State.  Spencer shot 54.5 percent from the field (12-of-22), 70 percent at the free throw line (7-of-10) and averaged four steals in the two home wins.

This marks the second time this season Spencer has been named NSIC Player of the Week (12/1).
