After serving South Dakota State University for 29 years, with 15 of those as the Vice President of Student Affairs, Marysz Rames is headed to Nebraska. She says that after her time at SDSU, and after serving as the interim president for Dakota State University for about nine months, she will be the new President for Wayne State College.

Rames says her time at Dakota State, a smaller university, helped her make the decision to head to Wayne.

She says that she will miss the leadership at SDSU, but she is excited to get started at Wayne State. Her first day as president will be July 13th.

Current WSC President, Curt Frye, is retiring from the position at the end of June.
