Since 1985, Curt Frye has been with Wayne State College in Nebraska. After thirty years, the President will retire in June. Frye says that in those years, he has seen a lot of change in the campus, academics, the quality of the education offered at the college, and the caliber of students. He says the one of the biggest achievements he has at the college is establishing a plan for the physical campus.
He cites the athletic department’s entrance into a larger division, receiving academic accreditation, and maintaining the excellence and atmosphere at Wayne State.
Frye says that upon retiring, he and his wife plan to spend some quality time at Lewis and Clark Lake in Yankton.
