The Lewis & Clark Regional Water System will get some additional money this year, but won’t be enough for any major pipeline construction.

Larson says they hope the Congressional representatives from the three states will be able to find more dollars for the rural water project fund.

The water system, when completed, would deliver treated water to towns and cities in South Dakota, Iowa and Minnesota.
