The Minnesota Legislature has advanced about forty million dollars over the last two years to the Lewis & Clark Regional Water System to help move construction along.

Larson says because of the funding from Minnesota, they have active construction this year…
The project is delivering water to towns and cities in South Dakota, Minnesota and Iowa from wells near the Missouri River south of Vermillion, and is about sixty percent complete.
