The Eastern South Dakota Water Conference is being held this week in Brookings.  The one day conference is designed to bring together all kinds of stakeholders, including citizens, policy makers, engineers, farmers, and industry members to discuss the latest issues and innovations facing the state’s water resources.  SDSU Extension Water Resource Field Specialist, Daniel Ostrem says they will have several presentations by keynote speakers…

 

One of the topics discussed at the conference will be the Waters of the U.S. Rule, with presentations by both the EPA and the South Dakota Farm Bureau…

 

The conference will be held Wednesday, beginning at 8:30 am in the Volstroff Ballroom on the SDSU campus in Brookings.  Anyone interested can register for free online at the conference website.
