Despite this week’s extreme cold, Nebraskans who love to ice fish should know there’s no ice that’s ever completely safe, according to Greg Wagner with the state Game and Parks Commission.

Wagner says those who plan to go ice fishing this weekend need to remember the rules.

Wagner says every body of water in the state has areas of unsafe ice.
