The new climate outlooks issued this week show a warm and dry trend for much of the country into summer.
Missouri State Climatologist Pat Guinan moderated the monthly North Central Region climate update.
He says April starts the warming pattern….

Guinan says the next ninety days also shows warm conditions spreading….

Guinan says as the La Nina fades, the summer forecast indicates a continued warm and dry pattern…

In the short term, Guinan says the expectation is for moderate to heavy rain next week across much of Nebraska and Iowa into the central US.
