The sponsor of the voter photo ID bill in Nebraska says a fundamental difference of philosophy doomed the bill this year.
Senator Tyson Larson of O’Neill admits to being somewhat surprised that opponents had just enough votes to shelve the bill for the session. Larson says he knew it would be hard to overcome the filibuster opponents had waged against his bill. . .
