South Dakota’s Tommy Vining has been named the 2017-18 Summit League Golfer of the Year.
Vining becomes the first Coyote to earn the top award from the league.
In Vining’s junior campaign, the Sioux Falls, South Dakota, native tallied a program record with an average of 73.09 strokes per round. He carded a school record 7-under-par 64 in the second round of the Itani Quality Homes Colligate hosted by Washington State.
