Vikings Practice With Jags

Vikings Practice With Jags

Rashod Hill might not take part in the joint practices with the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Minnesota Vikings this week because of a minor injury.

An undrafted practice squad player with the Jaguars just two years ago, Hill has become a key cog on a championship contender as the front runner at right tackle for the Vikings.

Tony Sparano Jr. smiled, laughed and joked with offensive linemen during practice. His emotions might be totally different the rest of the week. The son of longtime NFL coach Tony Sparano will return to Minnesota a little more than three weeks after his father’s death and step onto the same practice fields his dad roamed the last three years.

It won’t be easy for the younger Sparano, an assistant with Jacksonville. Jaguars coach Doug Marrone says Sparano is “going through a tough time.”
