The Minnesota Vikings have selected Central Florida cornerback Mike Hughes with the 30th pick in the first round of the NFL draft.
Hughes played only one season for UCF. He helped the Knights finish undefeated in 2017 with four interceptions, 11 pass breakups and four touchdown returns.
Hughes started his college career in his home state with North Carolina, but he left the program after one year following an altercation at a fraternity house on campus that led to a misdemeanor assault charge.
