Round one of the National Football League Draft is Thursday night, but the Minnesota Vikings may not join the process until Friday.
Going into Thursday, the Vikings are sitting with eight picks in this year’s draft. They have none in the first round after trading for Sam Bradford last season.
There is always a chance for a trade to move up in the draft, but the Vikings start the day holding a second round pick, two third round picks, two fourth round picks and one each in rounds five through seven.
