Kirk Cousins became an $84 million quarterback and Sean McVay became the youngest head coach in modern NFL history as a result of their collaboration in Washington.

They’re meeting again when Cousins’ Minnesota Vikings visit McVay’s Los Angeles Rams for an important early season NFC showdown Thursday night. Both say they wouldn’t be there without the other.

The Vikings( 1-1-1) are trying to bounce back from a loss Sunday at home to Buffalo while the Rams are trying to build on a 3-0 record.
