With most of their starters watching from the sidelines, the Minnesota Vikings wrapped up pre-season play in a 30-9 loss to the Miami Dolphins in the Twin Cities.

Jakeem Grant caught four passes for 141 yards and a touchdown for the Miami Dolphins.

Viking number three quarterback Taylor Heinecke suffered a concussion in the game. Former Minnesota Gopher Mitch Leidner took over at quarterback and completed 14 of 19 passes for 129 yards in his Viking debut.

The Vikings went 2-2 in the preseason. They open the regular season with a Monday night home game Sept. 11 against the New Orleans Saints.
