Vietnam Reopens Its Market To U.S. Dried Distillers Grains

Earlier this week Vietnamese officials announced they’re reopening their market to U.S. dried distillers grain imports. Renewable Fuel Association Senior Vice President Geoff Cooper says Vietnam is an important and fairly large market for American DDGs and the reopening comes at a good time.

He credits USDA officials for helping get that market reopened.

Cooper says the Asia Pacific region is a critical area for U.S. DDG exports.

Cooper says they’re hoping to build on the success of the Vietnam reopening by getting more DDGs into China.
