A veteran House legislator has made a successful move to the state Senate.
Representative Jim Bolin of Canton got seventy two percent of the vote in his bid to win the District 16 Senate seat. He has served eight years in the House.
Bolin says the voter registration in the district has changed rapidly….

Bolin says he expects a bit of a learning curve as he moves to the Senate…..

Bolin says with the lower numbers, Senators can be more engaged in bill debates….

Bolin says the Taxation and State Affairs Committees would be among his choices.
