Vandals Hit Downtown Yankton

More vandalism has been found in and around downtown Yankton. Storyboards used by the library on the Meridian Bridge were damaged and all have now been removed. Planters on businesses in the downtown were also damaged.

Damage was reported previously at the under-construction water treatment plant.
City Manager Amy Leon says the police are working with some information……

Leon says there are various areas finding damage….

Leon says there was considerable damage to construction equipment at the water treatment plant….

She says some water tanks were drained and refilled as a precaution, but federal authorities were not notified.
