James Madison and North Dakota State continue to hold down the No. 1 and No 2. spots in the FCS Coaches Poll, with Youngstown State, Jacksonville State and Wofford all moving up to round out the top five, respectively.

South Dakota, who was unranked after week 1 of the FCS Coaches Poll, has climbed up to No. 6 after a 38-33 win at No. 21 Western Illinois on Saturday. The Coyotes face another tough task this coming week, hosting No. 3 Youngstown State on Saturday.

South Dakota State’s loss to Youngstown State dropped the Jackrabbits from fourth to ninth in the Coaches poll while Illinois State is the fifth MVFC team in the top ten at #7.

USD and SDSU are number seven and eight in the STATS FCS Media Poll.
