The United States Mexico Canada Trade agreement is now in full effect. National Cattlemen’s Beef Association’s Director of International Trade and Market Access Kent Bacus says it’s a landmark agreement that’s very good for U.S. cattle producers.

He says the USMCA builds upon the prior successes of NAFTA that contains many important improvements.

Bacus says the USMCA will help the U.S. build on other future trade pacts.

Bacus says because the USMCA provides expanded market access for the U.S. , it puts the U.S. in a better position to recover from the detrimental impacts of the Coronavirus pandemic.
