The U.S. Farmers and Ranchers Alliance is promoting a new documentary they’ve purchased the license to called “Food Evolution”, which presents an objective analysis of GMOs. USFRA CEO Randy Krotz says the film shows the importance of using science when making any decisions regarding the use of GMOs.

He says the film does a great job of bringing out the emotions tied to the debate over GMOs and the importance of relying on science for making important decisions concerning the technology.

Krotz says the film shows how important the GMO technology is in helping to feed a growing world population, which is expected to go from 7 billion to 9 billion people by 2050.

Krotz says USFRA will be promoting ‘’Food Evolution” and holding college and university campus screenings and conducting a digital media campaign. They also hope to begin a fact based public dialogue about GMOS and the food system in the United States.
