It didn’t take long for the University of Sioux Falls to find a new football coach.

The Cougars are welcoming back Jon Anderson, a former assistant coach, to take the position after Jed Stugart resigned earlier in the week.

Anderson was an assistant at USF from 2002-2012, including three years as Defensive Coordinator.

He spent the last four seasons as head coach at West Virginia State where he posted a record of 10-34.
