South Dakota senior guard Tyler Larson earned his second consecutive Summit League Player of the Week award after leading the Coyotes to a pair of wins and into third place in the league standings.
Larson registered game highs of 21 points and 13 rebounds in Saturday’s win against IUPUI. It was his league-leading 10th double-double of the season. Larson also had three assists and a steal without a turnover to push South Dakota (15-14) to its fourth consecutive win.
For the week, which included a non-conference win against Avila on Tuesday, Larson shot 50 percent from the field (11 of 22), 57 percent from beyond the arc (4 of 7) and made all seven free-throw attempts.
