The USDA has increased the incentive payments for participants in the Continuous Conservation Program. Bobbie Kriz Wickham with the Nebraska State Farm Service Agency office says those incentives have gone up 15 percent and also includes an incentive payment for water quality practices on land enrolled in continuous C-R-P.

She says continuous C-R-P gives producers an option with their less productive land.

Wickham says FSA is still open for business even though many offices are not taking walk in traffic due to the pandemic. She advises calling for an appointment.

The Farm Service Agency automatically accepts offers, provided the land the producer meet the eligibility requirements.
