USDA Deputy Secretary Returning To CEO Job With American Soybean Association

Former American Soybean Association CEO Steven Censky is returning to his former job with that group in November. He’ll be stepping down from his current position as USDA Deputy Secretary. ASA Vice President and Valley Springs South Dakota farmer Kevin Scott says they’re excited to have Censky back working for them.

He says Censky will be able to help them with their priority issues at ASA including several on the regulatory front.

Scott says ASA also wants to see infrastructure improved to enhance getting soybeans out to export markets. He adds that as he takes over as ASA President next year it’ll be good to have Censky in place to assist him in those duties.

Censky has been serving as USDA Deputy Secretary for close to three years and will officially begin his work at ASA on November 8 of this year.
