u-S Department of Agriculture research agronomists have released their findings regarding long-term crop rotation using non-traditional crops along with corn and soybeans.  Shannon Osborn says studies show greater yield potential and less soil erosion and better water quality when using multiple crops in a four-year rotation plan.

Osborn, who is based at Brookings, South Dakota, explains how much of an increase in yield potential was determined based on the research findings.
