Six Coyotes scored in double figures to lead South Dakota to a 100-57 rout of Northwestern College (Iowa) Thursday evening in the Sanford Coyote Sports Center.
South Dakota (9-2) extends its winning streak over Northwestern (9-5, 3-5 GPAC) to 19 straight. This marks the second time the programs have met since USD’s transition to Div. I.

Sophomore guards Allison Arens and Jaycee Bradley tallied 13 and 12 points, respectively, in limited minutes. Senior forward Bridget Arens added 10 points.
Coming off the bench for the Coyotes, redshirt-sophomore Kaitlyn Severyn and freshman Taylor Frederick each scored a career high 11 points. Severyn also grabbed a career high six rebounds. Frederick scored the layup in the final minute that put the Coyotes in the triple figures.
Northwestern sophomore forward Haley Birks recorded a game-high 20 points, grabbed seven boards and blocked a pair of shots. Center Darbi Gustafson added 13 points and four blocks, while point guard Renee Maneman had 13 points and dished out a team-high seven assists.
