Six Coyotes scored in double figures as South Dakota ran away from Portland State 103-61 in the DakotaDome on Saturday afternoon.
South Dakota (5-3) extends its home win streak to 18, the seventh-longest active win streak in the nation. Portland State falls to 0-7 on the season.
In her 100th career start for the Coyotes, senior guard Nicole Seekamp scored 18 points, stole the ball six times, and had four assists. Seekamp’s six steals ties her career high from a road game at North Dakota State in 2013.
Senior point guard Tia Hemiller made five field goals, including two triples in the first three minutes, to score 12 points. Hemiller added four defensive rebounds.
Junior guard Caitlin Duffy had 11 points, five rebounds, and three assists. Duffy moved into a tie for second in the nation in three-pointers made with 27. She was 3-for-4 against Portland State.
