South Dakota captured the outright regular-season title and will be the No. 1 seed for the fourth time in the last six years at The Summit League Women’s Basketball Championship.

The regular-season champs will begin their chase for the title at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center in Sioux Falls, S.D., on Saturday, March 7 against No. 8 seed Omaha at 12 p.m. CT.

The Coyotes (27-2, 16-0 SL) clinched the outright title last Saturday thanks to their 77-67 victory over South Dakota State (21-9, 13-3 SL), who secured the No. 2 spot in the eight-team field.

No. 2 seed South Dakota State will play in Saturday’s second quarterfinal at 2:30 p.m. CT and take on No. 7 seed North Dakota (15-14, 6-10 SL).

Sunday’s quarterfinal session begins with No. 4 seed Oral Roberts (14-15, 9-7 SL) against No. 5 seed Western Illinois (15-14, 9-7 SL) at 12 p.m. CT. No. 3 seed Denver (15-14, 9-7 SL) faces No. 6 seed North Dakota State (10-18, 7-9 SL) at 2:30 p.m. CT to close out the quarterfinal round.
