University of South Dakota women’s basketball ranks first in the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major poll for the third-straight week.

The Coyotes are ranked for the 34th consecutive poll and sit at No. 1 for the fourth time. South Dakota received 29 of the 31 first-place votes.

South Dakota is coming off a pair of dramatic overtime wins last week. The Coyotes edged third-ranked Drake in overtime on Wednesday night, followed by an overtime win on the Pac-12 Utah’s home court. The Coyotes are 4-0 this season with three true road wins to start the year.

South Dakota State, though 1-2 to start the season, sits at #13 in the poll.
