USD Women, Iowa Gain In Poll

South Dakota women’s basketball improves one spot to rank No. 24 in the latest Associated Press Top 25 released Monday.

The Coyotes (17-2, 6-0 Summit) improved one spot after routing a pair of Summit teams last week.

Iowa (15-3) moved up three spots to #19 in the country.

South Carolina still sits atop the poll with Baylor in second place. The Gamecocks received 22 first-place votes from a 30-member media panel. The Lady Bears had six.

UConn moved up to third after previous No. 3 Stanford lost to Oregon by 32 points. The Ducks moved up to No. 4. Louisville was fifth. Stanford fell to sixth.
