South Dakota recent alumna Abigail Fogg has signed a professional contract with Portes du Soleil B.B.C. Troistorrents in Switzerland.
“I am thankful for USD athletics, the community and USD women’s basketball for the support, and thankful to God for getting me to this point,” Fogg said. “The opportunity to play post-collegiately is amazing to me. It’s something a lot of basketball players talk about and its surreal to step back and realize this is a dream come true. Proceeding through each step of the process makes it feel more and more real. This is incredible and such a blessing to be able to do.”
Fogg was honorable mention all-Summit League in her senior season after averaging 10.9 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game. She scored 523 points, grabbed 265 rebounds and blocked 52 shots in two seasons at South Dakota. Fogg was a member of the Coyotes’ 2016 Women’s National Invitation Tournament championship team.
