The University of South Dakota Law School is rebounding from some lean years. The bar passage rate of its graduates fell for several years in a row, then accreditation was threatened along with its finances. A committee studying the school contemplated a move to Sioux Falls.
Incoming Dean, Neil Fulton says he wants to keep the positive momentum going..

Donations led to eleven full ride scholarships last fall and Fulton says continuing and improving that will be a priority..

Fulton says the decision to keep the school in Vermillion will help them make rapid progress..

Fulton takes over in June for Current Dean Thomas Gue (gooey), who is returning to the classroom.
