A task force looking at the future of the USD Law School, and a possible move to Sioux Falls met for seven hours Wednesday, but did not come to any consensus.
The task force was assembled by USD President Jim Abbott to address lower enrollments, and fewer students passing the bar exam.
Retired Associate Law School Dean Tom Sorenson told the group there were more advantages to keeping the law school on campus in Vermillion….

Task Force Chair, Representative Mark Mickelson of Sioux Falls, says the group needs to make a recommendation when they wrap up…..
The task force will meet again on October 6th at the USD Law School in Vermillion.
