The groundbreaking was held in Vermillion for the new USD Sports Performance Enhancement Complex.  The new facility will house basketball and volleyball, along with space for sports sciences.

The new building will be just south of the Dakotadome, with a ground level main floor and second level concourse. The athletic development also includes a new competition outdoor track and soccer complex, which will be built near the wellness center.
