USD Discovery District Breaks Ground for First Building

Another major step was taken at the USD Discovery District in Sioux Falls with groundbreaking for the first building.
Rich Naser, President of the District, says it’s a major move forward…

The building will be over eighty thousand square feet and will cost just under thirty-one million dollars.
Naser says they have several businesses committed to the building….

The first two companies will be S.A.B. Biotheraputics, and Alumend, a medical research company.
Naser says they have room to grow….

The district is a partnership between USD, SDSU, Dakota State University, the City of Sioux Falls and the State of South Dakota.
