The United States Cattlemen’s Association has announced its support for Montana Congressman Ryan Zinke, President Trump’s nominee for Interior Secretary. USCA President and North Dakota producer Kenny Graner says Zinke is highly qualified for the job and look forward to working with him on public lands and grazing issues.

He says Zinke understands that ranchers are doing a great job of taking care of public lands in an environmentally responsible way while making a living doing so.

Graner thinks Zinke should be confirmed easily and hasn’t seen any real opposition to his appointment so far.

Graner says users of public lands need a voice like Zinke’s that will balance the needs of both U.S. ranchers and the natural resources at hand.
