The US Senate defeated several gun related amendments Monday that had been pushed by democrats following the massacre in Orlando.
The bills would have upgraded background checks, closed a gun show sales loophole, and denied gun sales to known or suspected terrorists.
South Dakota Senator Mike Rounds says they need to help law enforcement get updated information…..
Rounds says they have to find a good balance…..
Rounds says controls should not be put on guns……
While the amendments got more than fifty votes, they needed sixty to pass the Senate.
