U.S. Farmers and Ranchers Alliance leaders have formed the U.S. Farming and Ranching Foundation.  USFRA Board member and South Dakota pork producer Brad Greenway says having a foundation is a good way to come up with funding to push their agenda of expanding the dialogue with consumers regarding food production in America.

 

He says the mission of the foundation is to further agricultural education and understanding of agriculture among young people and consumers.

 

Greenway says having the foundation in place will allow them to serve a wide variety of needs.

 

Bayer Crop Science President and CEO Jim Blome will serve as the Foundation’s chairman.
