A rural electric cooperative that serves parts of Sioux Falls is scrambling to meet service needs.
Southeastern Electric, based in Marion, serves rapidly growing areas west and south of Sioux Falls.
Manager Brad Schardin, (shar-deen) says they have moved people and resources to those areas……

Schardin says besides that growth, they also have a work plan set out for the rest of their service area…..

Schardin says they continue to move more of their main service lines underground……

Schardin says with over seventy-five years of service, it takes time to bury all their main lines.
