The Medical Marijuana Oversight Committee of the South Dakota legislature met this week in Pierre.

The group got an update on the status and numbers of medical cardholders and businesses selling medical cannabis.

The program was authorized by a voter passed initiative in 2020 and implemented by legislative rules.
