UNO Professor Helping Journalism Students in Afghanistan

Chris Allen, a journalism professor at the University of Nebraska at Omaha has just returned from a ten day trip to Afghanistan. It was his third trip to that country since 2010, where he has been working with universities to begin and expand their own journalism programs.
Allen says this trip was focused on new and expanding programs…..

Allen says they got a two million dollar grant for this part of the project…..

Allen says they are continuing a long tradition at UNO……

Five staff people from UNO made this trip.
