University Partnership With Software Company Working

University of South Dakota computer science students continue to benefit from a partnership with Eagle Creek Software in Vermillion.  More than a year after the partnership was announced, many students in the Department of Computer Science have graduated with jobs waiting at Eagle Creek.  Assistant Professor of Computer Science, Carol Lushbough,(lush-(take a ) bow) says the internship program has opened doors for students…

 

Lushbough says that over twenty students have already gone through the program, started last year.  She says that number is going to grow as Eagle Creek continues to look for students to hire in a booming industry….

 

Lushbough teaches several classes within the program and says she has high hopes for the future of the partnership…

 

Eagle Creek is building a new facility in Vermillion that will eventually house about two hundred employees.
