The University of Minnesota apple breeding team is introducing the First Kiss apple later this month. Spokeswoman Shelly Gustafson says the first cross of the new apple began 21 years ago:
The First Kiss Apple is the child of the Honeycrisp and will be available in mid-to-late August.
