A new University of Nebraska project wants to help young homeless people in the state.
Project Director Jeff Chambers says the members of Connected Youth Initiative will experiment with various programs to eliminate homelessness in youths ages 18 to 24. Chambers says one such program is already being tried out in the state
Chambers says the Connected Youth Initiative will look to integrate state agencies to better help homeless youth ages 18 to 24
Chambers says he believes the state received the three-point-two Million dollar grant because of the state’s history of solving unique problems.
